HC Alkaloid secured another Super League victory, dominating HC Prilep with a score of 45:23 (23:13) in the fourth round, in a match held at the Avtokomanda arena. This fourth consecutive victory propelled the team to the top of the league standing.
As expected, our team controlled the game from start to finish, marking another Super League triumph after victories over Vardar 1961, Radovish, and Butel Skopje. From the onset, HC Alkaloid took a solid lead, spearheaded by Bingo’s four goals, reaching 12:5 and then extending the advantage to 17:6 with a five-goal run, by the 20th minute. Prilep struggled with technical errors, and our goalkeeper, Marko Kizikj, made a significant impact by saving 13 shots in the first half, which ended with a score of 23:13.
The second half was largely a formality, giving coach Kiril Lazarov the opportunity to rotate the squad and give everyone some playing time. Every player who stepped on the court scored, except for defender Nikola Markoski and goalkeeper Ivan Galevski. The top scorer was Nikola Kosteski with seven goals, followed by Martin Serafimov, Igor Gjorgjiev, and Francisco Oliveira with five goals each.
Next up for HC Alkaloid is an away game against CHC Tikvesh in the Super League.
