HC Alkaloid secured another championship victory in tonight’s opening match of the 10th round in the Super League playoffs. They defeated HC Struga, solidifying their position in the standings ahead of the upcoming derby against direct rival CHC Ohrid. Marko Stojkovic and Damjan Mitev performed exceptionally well in the first half, scoring nine of the team’s 13 goals, leading HC Alkaloid to a five-goal advantage (13-8).

HC Alkaloid maintained their lead upto the end of the first half, which ended with a score of 15-10. By the 38th minute, they had extended their lead to 20-10, effectively securing the three points. The remainder of the match was played at a steady, slower pace, with HC Alkaloid comfortably reaching a final score of 35-20. This game also marked the return of Kristijan Simonoski, who had been injured at the tournament in Struga earlier this year. Simonoski played his first match today and was the team’s second-highest scorer netting five goals.
